أفاد المركز الوطني للأرصاد الجوية، اليوم بتراجع نسبي في حالة عدم استقرار الأجواء على أجزاء واسعة من البلاد مقارنة بالأيام الماضية، بحسب ما أظهرته خرائط الطقس المختلفة والنماذج العددية بالمركز.
وتوقع المركز في نشرته التحذيرية، هطول أمطار متفاوتة الشدة، متوسطة إلى غزيرة، مصحوبة بالعواصف الرعدية أحياناً على سلسلة المرتفعات الجبلية الغربية من صعدة شمالاً وحتى أجزاء من محافظة لحج جنوباُ.
وأشار إلى أن الأمطار ستكون أكثر غزارة على محافظات صعدة، حجة، المحويت, ريمة، كما قد تشمل أجزاء من الهضاب الداخلية والسواحل الشرقية والمناطق الداخلية المحاذية لها.
وذكر المركز أن أجزاء من السواحل الغربية والمناطق الداخلية المحاذية لها قد تشهد هطول أمطار متفرقة، فيما ستتراوح الرياح الموسمية حول أرخبيل سقطرى مابين 20 إلى 40 عقدة.
وحذر المركز المواطنين في المناطق المتوقع هطول الأمطار عليها من التواجد في مجاري السيول وبطون الأودية والتي اعتاد الناس عبورها بوسائل النقل.
ودعا إلى أخذ الاحتياطات اللازمة من الانهيارات الصخرية والانخفاض في مدى الرؤية الأفقية بسبب السحب المنخفضة والضباب والانزلاقات الطينية خاصة في الطرقات والمنعطفات الجبلية، والاحتماء من الرياح الشديدة والعواصف الرعدية أثناء وبعد هطول الأمطار.
ولفت المركز إلى أن كمية الأمطار التي هطلت خلال ال24 ساعة الماضية وتم قياسها في محطات الرصد الجوي بلغت 6 ملم في المحويت، و1.6 ملم في المعافر (تعز)، كما هطلت أمطار متفرقة على أجزاء من سلسلة المرتفعات الغربية والهضاب الداخلية أقل شدة مما كانت عليه خلال اليومين الماضين معظمها خارج نطاق محطات الرصد الجوي .
Today, the National Center of Meteorology reported a relative decline in the instability of the weather in large parts of the country compared to previous days, according to what was shown by the various weather maps and numerical models of the center.
In its warning bulletin, the Center expected rain of varying intensity, medium to heavy, accompanied by thunderstorms at times on the western mountain range from Saada in the north to parts of Lahj governorate in the south.
He indicated that the rains will be more intense in the governorates of Saada, Hajjah, Al Mahwit and Raymah, and may include parts of the interior plateaus, the eastern coasts, and the inland areas adjacent to them.
The center stated that parts of the western coast and adjacent interior areas may witness sporadic rains, while the monsoons around the Socotra archipelago will range between 20 to 40 knots.
The center warned citizens in areas where rain is expected to avoid being in the streams of torrents and valleys, which people used to cross by ways of transportation.
He called for taking the necessary precautions against rock landslides and a decrease in the horizontal visibility due to low clouds, fog and mud slides, especially in mountain roads and turns, and to take shelter from strong winds and thunderstorms during and after rain.
The center pointed out that the amount of rain that fell during the past 24 hours, which was measured in meteorological stations, was 6 mm in Al-Mahwit and 1.6 mm in Al-Ma`fer (Taiz), and sporadic rains fell on parts of the Western Highlands and the interior plateaus less severe than they were. Accordingly, during the past two days, most of them were outside the range of weather stations.
