توفي اليوم قائد الفرقة الموسيقية العسكرية العميد الركن أيوب عبدالرشيد في العاصمة عدن.
وعلمت صحيفة "عدن الغد" أن العميد الركن أيوب عبدالرشيد قائد الفرقة الموسيقية العسكرية التابعة لدائرة التوجيه المعنوي للقوات المسلحة والمقاومة توفي صباح اليوم الاربعاء بالعاصمة عدن إثر ذبحة صدرية المت به.
حيث ووري جثمانه الطاهر الثرى ظهر اليوم في العاصمة عدن بموكب جنائزي كبير حضره العميد الركن علي منصور الوليدي مدير دائرة التوجيه المعنوي للقوات المسلحة والمقاومة الجنوبية وكافة زملاءه من منتسبي الفرقة الموسيقية العسكرية ودائرة التوجيه المعنوي والقوات المسلحة وجماهير غفيرة من اصدقاء واقارب وزملاء الفقيد رحمه الله.
وخاض العميد ركن أيوب عبدالرشيد حياة كفاحية وعملية وموسيقية حافلة بالعطاء والابداع في خدمة الوطن والمؤسسة الدفاعية والأمنية الجنوبية ، قدم خلالها خير ابداعاته الموسيقية وخبراته العسكرية القيادية والادارية والميدانية في تطوير اداء وقدرات الموسيقى العسكرية واعادة بناء الفرقة الموسيقية العسكرية الجنوبية الذي اسندت اليه مهمة قيادتها منذ اعادة تاسيسها عقب حرب تحرير عدن من المليشيات الانقلابية الحوثية المتمردة.
وعمل على اعادة بناءها من الصفر وفي اعقد الظروف الاستثنائية التي شهدها الجنوب وبابسط الامكانيات المحدودة والذي جعل منها بحكمته وحنكتة القيادية وخبراته المهنية التراكمية الطويلة أن تحتل دورها الريادي ومكانتها المرموقة في رفع الروح المعنوية لمنتسبي القوات المسلحة والامن ومشاركتها في مقدمة الفعاليات الوطنية الرسمية والجماهيرية ونالت احترام وتقدير كبيرين على المستويين العسكري والمدني.
