أطلق السلطان فضل بن محمد بن عيدروس العفيفي نداء آنساني إلى أيادي الخير والمستشفيات الخاصة في عدن لمواجهت جائحة الأوبئة المنتشرة في عدن :
جاء فيه :
من خلال متابعاتنا المستمرة للوضع الصحي التي تعيشة عدن في هذه الأيام شد أنتباهنا العمل الصحي الذي قام به المستشفى الكوبي بعدن بفتحه قسم خاص للحميات فيه لمكافحة جائحة الأمراض الوبائية المنتشرة في عدن والتي تتزايد فيها عدد الوفيات والذي كان للمستشفى الكوبي السبق في هذه البادرة الطيبة .
وعليه نوجه نداء إلى المستشفيات الخاصة في عدن بالذات إلى الإقتداء بما أقدم عليه المستشفى الكوبي كما نناشد أهالي الخير إلى توجيه الدعم لمثل هذا العمل في المستشفيات التي تقوم بفتح مثل تلك الأقسام او التحول الكامل مؤقتا لاستقبال وعلاج الحميات لتخفيف الوطئ ورفع المعاناة عن أهلنا في عدن في محاولة لإيجاد الحلول اللازمة لمواجهة الوباء وتكاتف الجهود للحد منه آملين تظافر الجهود والأخذ بالمبادرات الإنسانية التي تسعى بشتى الوسائل لإنقاذ عدن وأهلها من هذا البلاء والتفريج من الكرب التي يعيشها الناس والإقتداء بعمل الأخوة في المستشفى الكوبي.
شكر الله لمن بادر وفرج عن العباد من ضيق الحياة ومصيبة البلاء .

Through our continuous follow-up to the health situation that Aden lives in these days, we were drawn to the health work carried out by the Cuban Hospital in Aden by opening a special section for fevers in it to combat the pandemic of epidemic diseases prevalent in Aden, in which the number of deaths is increasing, and the Cuban Hospital was the first in this good initiative.
Accordingly, we appeal to private hospitals in Aden, in particular, to follow the example of the Cuban hospital, and we also appeal to the people of charity to direct support for such work in hospitals that open such departments or shift completely temporarily to receive and treat diets to alleviate the stress and relieve the suffering of our people in Aden in An attempt to find the necessary solutions to confront the epidemic and join efforts to reduce it, hoping to consolidate efforts and take humanitarian initiatives that seek in various ways to save Aden and its people from this calamity and relieve people live and follow the work of brotherhood in the Cuban hospital.
