كما استطاعت القوات المشتركة للتحالف، مساء الخميس، اعتراض وتدمير صاروخين باليستيين أطلقتهما الميليشيات الحوثية الإرهابية المدعومة من إيران بطريقة ممنهجة ومتعمدة لاستهداف المدنيين والأعيان المدنية بمدينة خميس مشيط، بحسب وكالة الأنباء السعودية (واس).

وأوضح العقيد المالكي استمرار الميليشيات الحوثية الإرهابية بانتهاك القانون الدولي الإنساني، وتواصل المحاولات الفاشلة لاستهداف المدنيين والأعيان المدنية، وكذلك استمرارها بتهديد الأمن الإقليمي والدولي وتقويض الجهود السياسية لإنهاء الانقلاب والوصول للحل السياسي الشامل في اليمن.

وأكد العقيد المالكي أن قيادة القوات المشتركة للتحالف مستمرة باتخاذ وتنفيذ الإجراءات المناسبة للتعامل مع هذه الأعمال العدائية والإرهابية، وبما يتوافق مع القانون الدولي الإنساني وقواعده العرفية.
