اكد القيادي بالمجلس الانتقالي الجنوبي احمد بامعلم ان قرار فك الإرتباط حق ومطلب شرعي نابع عن معاناة طويلة.
وقال بامعلم في تغريدة له: ارتكب نظام صنعاء منذ السابع من يوليو ١٩٩٤م أبشع الجرائم بحق الإنسانية في حروبه طوال فترة الوحدة المشؤومة على الجنوب (أرضاً وإنساناً).
واشار الى ان تلك الممارسات بحق الجنوب تعدت حدود صبر شعب كان ضحية عشرات السنين.
مؤكدا بان قرار فك الإرتباط حق ومطلب شرعي نابع عن معاناة طويلة.
The leader of the Southern Transitional Council, Ahmed Bamualem, affirmed that the decision to separation is a right and a legitimate requirement stemming from long suffering.
Bamalem said in a tweet : Since July 7, 1994, the Sanaa regime committed the most heinous crime against humanity in its wars throughout the disastrous period of unity on the south (land and people).
He pointed out that those practices against the south went beyond the boundaries of the patience of a people who had been the victim of decades.
