ادى رئيس هيئة الاركان العامة الفريق الركن صغير بن عزيز صلاة الجنازة على نجله ومرافقيه صباح اليوم الجمعة 29-5-2020 بمدينة مأرب.
ونشر الاعلامي محمد العرب مقطع فيديو يظهر جمع غفير من العسكريين والمدنيين يأتمهم الفريق بن صغير في صلاة الجنازة على الشهداء الذين سقطوا في قصف حوثي غادر مساء الاربعاء الماضي.
بعد قليل اول مقابلة تلفزيونية مع الفريق صغير بن عزيز بعد نجاته من محاولة الاستهداف الذي استشهد فيها نجله وعدد من مرافقيه تابعوا الحدث العربية ولا صحة الاشاعات عن اصابة رئيس الاركان بن عزيز والخبر بعد قليل على الشاشة وحضرت معه اليوم صلاة الجنازة على الشهداء .
وكان قد فقد بن عزيز ابنه ونجل أخيه ضمن سبعة شهداء بهجوم يعتقد بأنه استهداف حوثي لموقع للجيش اليمني في مأرب (شرق صنعاء) امس الاول.
