نفى الناطق الرسمي باسم المقاومة الوطنية صادق دويد اصابته في معارك زنجبار.
كانت وسائل إعلام تابعة للشرعية ونشطاء اعلاميون قد قالوا ان دويد اصيب في معارك زنجبار يوم الخميس.
دوديد نفى خبر اصابته بشكل ضمني ناشرا له صورة على مائدة الافطار.
وجاء فيها:"
نهنئ الشعب اليمني بمناسبة حلول عيد الفطر المبارك، سائلين الله أن يعيد هذه المناسبة وقد تحقق للمقاومة وللشعب الانتصار والسلام،،
للشهداء الرحمة وللأسرى الحرية وللجمهورية السؤدد ولراية الوطن العلو والرفعة..
كل عام واليمن وكل أرض العروبة بخير ونماء ووئام.
