Aden: Hundreds March in Support for National Council
Hundreds of people rallied a march in Aden Friday to support the National Council declared two days ago.
The protesters gathered in the Freedom Square in Crater District after the Tarawih Muslim prayers, pushing towards the old streets of the city of Crater chanting slogans support the National Council and others condemn the regime and the military conflicts in Abyan, Arhab, and Nukum.
Female protesters and young children also attended thickly, waving flags of Yemen and demanding to increase the revolutionary peaceful activities in order to complete the overthrow of the regime.
The Islah Islamic party organizes weekly marches on Fridays in its main sit-in square in Queen Arwa St. in Crater District. While other political bodies, like the Southern Movement, specified another day for weekly protests; Sundays.
